Assistant Teacher

Role Summary:

Broadway Housing Communities is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our art-based and Reggio-inspired Early Childhood Programs. This is a full-day program, committed to providing individualized, comprehensive educational services for 3-5 year old children and their families in West Harlem. The Assistant Teacher manages a classroom in accordance with Program Performance Standards, Board of Directors, Policy Council, and Broadway Housing Communities policies and procedures.

The Assistant Teacher manages a classroom in accordance with Program Performance Standards, Board of Directors, Policy Council, and Broadway Housing Communities policies and procedures. The teacher plans, organizes, and implements curriculum, completes assessments and observations, and overall classroom management. The lead teacher will also serve as a mentor and model to their assistant teacher and all of their working peers.

Kitchen Aide - Part Time

Location: New York, NY (on-site)

Role Summary:

The Kitchen Aide supports staff by assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and ensuring kitchen areas are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11am-3pm

Case Manager – Family & Supportive Services

Location: New York, NY (on-site)

Role Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Case Manager to join our Family and Educational Support Services team. The Case Manager will provide comprehensive case management and advocacy to families, ensuring access to housing assistance, entitlements, and educational resources. Administrative Assistant

Role Summary:

The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting both the Tenant Services Department and senior staff located on the 9th floor of BHC’s Sugar Hill site. This highly visible position serves as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, and is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations. This role is essential to maintaining an organized, efficient, and welcoming office environment. The Administrative Assistant will assist with a wide range of tasks that support senior leadership and the delivery of services across all BHC properties.
