Low-Income Housing Like Broadway Housing's other buildings, the diversity of this community ranges from those who have become totally independent to those who need daily assistance. In 1998, Broadway Housing began hosting educational and cultural arts programs for neighborhood children at The Rio, including a small after school program providing homework assistance Monday through Thursday and cultural and art activities during the weekend. A small space in the penthouse at the Rio is used as a community
art gallery and showcases
emerging Latin and African American artists.
